About TwitX

TwitX.app is a free, fast, and privacy-focused online media utility designed to help users download and backup public videos, photos, animated GIFs, and audio tracks from Twitter (X) in original quality.

Our Purpose

Social media content is temporary by nature. Important news clips, investigative reports, technical tutorials, and educational threads are frequently deleted or lost when accounts change privacy settings or get suspended. Traditional browser bookmarks only point to the original tweet—if that tweet is removed, the media is lost forever.

TwitX was built to provide a reliable, simple, and accessible tool for researchers, journalists, students, and everyday users to preserve public media locally on their devices for offline viewing and fair-use educational backup.

What Makes TwitX Different

Original Master Quality: We extract direct media streams without re-compressing videos or downscaling photos. Videos are delivered up to 1080p Full HD, and photos up to 4K original resolution.
No Watermarks: We never add logos, stamps, or watermarks to your downloaded files. You receive the exact unaltered file from Twitter's CDN.
Zero Spam & No Malware: We maintain a clean, distraction-free interface without deceptive popup traps or aggressive redirects.
100% Free: No paid subscriptions, no account registration, and no daily download limits.
Privacy-First: We do not log the links you submit, and we do not store downloaded files on our servers. Media is streamed directly to your browser.
