Privacy Policy

At TwitX.app, we believe that privacy is a fundamental human right. This Privacy Policy explains our commitment to protecting your anonymity and details our data practices when you use our website.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Our service is designed to function without collecting personal data:

• No User Accounts: You do not need to register, provide an email address, or create a password to use TwitX.
• No URL Query Logging: We do not keep records or logs of the tweet URLs, usernames, or queries you submit.
• No Media Retention: We do not store downloaded videos, photos, or audio files on our servers. Files stream directly between your browser and Twitter's Content Delivery Network.
• No Tracking Profiles: We do not build user profiles, sell user data, or share personal data with data brokers.

2. How the Service Works

When you paste a link to download media, TwitX acts as an on-the-fly technical proxy to inspect Twitter's public video manifest. The media file is transferred in real time directly to your device via HTTP chunked streaming. At no point is the file stored or retained on our persistent storage.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

TwitX does not use third-party marketing, analytics, or behavioral advertising cookies. When you toggle the Day/Dark mode theme, your browser applies the setting dynamically without storing invasive tracking cookies.

4. Server Security Logs

Like all internet services, our web hosting servers may temporarily record standard network diagnostic information (such as IP addresses, browser types, and request timestamps) solely for technical operations, preventing automated abuse, and mitigating DDoS attacks. These diagnostic logs are rotated and deleted automatically.

5. Third-Party Links

Our website interacts with public edge endpoints of Twitter and X (twimg.com). We are not responsible for the privacy practices, policies, or content of third-party platforms.
